Theo Giovanopoulos

Theo Giovanopoulos is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Small Business Expo and a member of the company's executive leadership team. He oversees the strategic planning, operational execution, and continuous optimization of the nation's largest business-to-business trade show, conference, and networking event for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Theo is responsible for developing the operational infrastructure that powers Small Business Expo's nationwide event portfolio. His expertise includes large-scale event operations, logistics management, process automation, workflow optimization, systems integration, project management, venue negotiations, vendor management, budgeting, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership. He specializes in leveraging technology to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and create scalable systems that support organizational growth.

In addition to overseeing event execution, Theo leads initiatives focused on operational excellence, business intelligence, reporting, and technology implementation. He works closely with internal teams and strategic partners to optimize workflows, enhance the exhibitor and attendee experience, and ensure every event is executed with precision and consistency.

Theo earned his degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking, engineering principles, and problem-solving—skills that continue to shape his data-driven approach to operations and organizational leadership.
