Yes, ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence May Put You Out of Business

05/27/2021 CST • Workshop Room 1

Artificial Intelligence is all over the news these days, which could make us think that AI is a brand new field. It isn’t: AI research started in the 1950s. While it still might sound like a promise for the future, we should not fool ourselves: it is happening now, and it will impact all of us—our business, our processes, and not unimportantly ourselves and our employees.

In this lively presentation we’ll start off with a high-level look back at the early days of AI, explaining why only now AI becomes so pervasive in our lives. AI is becoming our new partner at work too: the future of business is one of Humans + AI. But what does this mean for us? How are people to remain relevant and useful in our business when algorithms start taking over some of the tasks we are uniquely qualified to do – or so we think.

The session will end with a call for action, a call for reflection about the future of our business, ourselves, and our employees on how to successfully adapt in a world where Artificial Intelligence is everywhere.
