Arthur (Art) Chan is a Senior Solutions Architect on the WWSO Generative AI team at Amazon Web Services, focused on Amazon Quick. Based in Mountain View, CA, he combines deep technical expertise in agentic and generative AI with strong business development and customer engagement capabilities, maintaining active engagements with major enterprise customers across multiple industries. Arthur joined AWS in 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience spanning technical pre/post-sales consulting, product architecture, and customer-facing evangelism. Prior to AWS, he held director-level positions managing regional teams across Asia Pacific at HP/Opsware, led enterprise infrastructure engagements with clients like Samsung SDS and EDS, and built multiple technology businesses from the ground up. His career spans enterprise automation, cloud infrastructure, SaaS development, and data analytics. Arthur holds a B.S. in Computer Science from UC Riverside and six AWS certifications including ML Specialty and Solutions Architect Professional. He is a contributing author and technical editor for Linux Administration: A Beginner's Guide (McGraw-Hill), a FIRST Robotics mentor, and a six-time Ironman finisher with 35+ marathons completed.
