Is there a fee to participate?
Yes, there is a non-refundable Application Fee for each nomination.
Early Deadline: $150 first entry, $50 any additional entry
(Applications received by September 1, 2023 at 11:59PM, EST)
Regular Deadline: $200 first entry, $100 any additional entry
(Applications received by October 20, 2023 at 11:59 PM, EST)
Can I withdraw my application?
Yes, you can withdraw an entry but the fee per entry is non-refundable.
Awards & Selection Process
- To nominate your business or someone else’s business, simply complete our online Nomination Application. You may apply for multiple Categories and make multiple nominations in a single category. You may also nominate multiple businesses.
- Once your Application is approved, your Nomination will appear in our Public Voting area online during Public Voting (see dates below).
- You will be given a direct link to the Public Voting Page to promote your Nomination. We encourage you to promote your Nomination to your Network of Clients & Colleagues (i.e., Social Media, Email Announcements, etc). More promotion leads to more votes.
- After Public Voting is completed, The Top 3 Nominations with the most Public Votes in each Category will be reviewed by the Finalists Judging Committee (selected and managed by Small Business Expo).
- One Winner in each Category will be selected as the Final Winner. SB100 Nominations will be ranked in order #1 through #100.
May I submit multiple entries for different categories?
Yes, an individual is able to submit more than one entry per category as well as nominate the same company for different categories. An Application Fee applies to each submission.
When will public voting open?
Public Voting: November 6, 2023 through December 8, 2023 11:59 PM, EST.
We encourage you to notify your email list & social media to build awareness and vote for your Nomination. Each Public Voter will be required to create a FREE Voting Account and is allowed to only vote one time per category
When/how will my company know if we Won?
- Winners will be publicly announced in late-December by email.
- Winner Packages will be mailed out in late-January 2024 to the address provided in your Nomination Application.
Can I edit/access my company profile after I submitted an entry?
Yes, until Nominations Close. Simply log-in and make any edits to your company profile. Please ensure to save any changes to your profile.
