Chris Ward grew up in New York City and started his contracting career with the Veteran’s Administration in 2008. He has been with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) since 2022. During his federal contracting career he has worn many hats, including as a supervising contracting officer, and small business liaison. At USPTO, he is a warranted contracting officer and team lead, as well as a small business liaison on the Small Business Outreach Tiger Team. No stranger to the issues facing small businesses, prior to his work in government, Chris was an event and entertainment producer at Overland Entertainment, a small but successful company with a roster of Fortune 500 clien
