Darren Kimura President & CEO, AI Squared

Darren Kimura is an entrepreneur, inventor, and executive recognized for building and leading technology companies across energy, software, and artificial intelligence. He serves as President and CEO of AI Squared where he leads efforts to advance AI infrastructure for the U.S. Department of Defense and Fortune 500 enterprises.

Previously, Darren was President and CEO of LiveAction guiding its growth from a government technology spin-out to a $300 million acquisition by BlueCat Networks. Earlier in his career, he led Solar Power Technology from concept to more than a billion dollars in contracted value and through its S-1 IPO process. As a venture capitalist, he has invested in 18 technology start-ups, contributing to three IPOs and seven notable exits.

An inventor with 14 patents and recipient of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, Darren is an alumnus of the University of Hawaii and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and is an Eagle Scout.
