Christine Footit Branch Chief, Tax Outreach

Ms. Christine Footit has been with the IRS for 32 years. She is the Branch Chief for the Tax Outreach, Partnership and Education branch in Communications & Liaison. Prior to her current position, she was a Revenue Officer in Collection for 19 years (1991 – 2009) and a Tax Specialist in Stakeholder Liaison (2010 – 2018). Tax Outreach, Partnership and Education is a new outreach function that began in January 2018. The TOPE Team focuses on developing and building relationships with organizations outside of traditional tax communities to share messages such as Filing Season, Tax Credits, Scams, etc.
