Cybersecurity is a Big Priority for Small Business

• 11:15AM - 11:45AM • Workshop Room 2

Cybersecurity is good for business. Customers, supply chain partners, banks, insurers, etc. are increasingly expecting businesses of all sizes to have a strong cybersecurity posture. The small business community, with limited resources and budgets, needs cybersecurity guidance, solutions, and training that is practical, actionable, and enables them to cost-effectively address and manage their cybersecurity and privacy risks. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Small Business Cybersecurity Corner is a free, publicly available resource that puts these key resources in one place. During this session, attendees will understand the basic steps they can take to manage their cybersecurity risks and will be introduced to free resources they can put into action today to educate themselves and their employees.
