Urina HarrellCEO of Vox Pop Branding, Co-Founder Vox Pop Kids

Urina is a Long Beach native with over 7 years of marketing experience. As the founder of Vox Pop Branding Urina combines her formal undergraduate training in Psychology and Neuroscience from Duke University as well as a Masters in Marketing from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom, to help small businesses and nonprofits attain innovative marketing tools to improve the effectiveness of their marketing strategies. Carving out its niche in the marketing industry, Vox Pop Branding returns humanity to the world of business while providing big business cutting edge technology for small business budgets. Her small business focus marketing firm seeks to help small businesses and nonprofits establish and grow their brands. In addition to traditional marketing services, her firm offers marketing tools that are normally outside the budgets of small businesses and nonprofits in the form of customized consumer intelligence reports and mobile app development. As an undergraduate at Duke University, Urina discovered a passion for marketing. When she first discovered her love for marketing, she was torn between doing what she loved and being proud of her impact on the world. For her, philanthropy was very important; however, most marketing firms only wanted to separate consumers from their money as fast as possible. As much as she loved marketing, Urina couldn’t see herself living that way. As a result, she decided to establish a firm dedicated to helping small businesses. Since that day, her vision has evolved from simply helping small businesses and nonprofit organizations prove to the world that business and humanity can coexist and produce financial success. Her vision is to “return humanity to the world of business by helping small and guiding large.” Her nearest goal is to increase the number of small businesses that have access to marketing tools and knowledge. Many small business owners have great products and services but what’s missing is proper branding and access. You would be surprised what a difference a more polished look can have on a business’s success, and it is my current goal to bridge this gap. In addition to supporting small business marketing efforts, Urina also writes books teaching children the importance of business and fundamentals. Her goal is to help the present small business owners through marketing and support future professionals’ development by educating our little ones on the importance of financial literacy, accounting marketing, leadership, and more.
