Trademark & Copyright 101: What, Why and How Intellectual property is an essential small business asset—likely more valuable than tangible, physical property. Regardless of size or industry, it's probable an entrepreneur owns or has created IP assets that should be properly protected and monitored. This program will assist business owners identify assets that can be secured by trademarks and copyrights; review the provided protections; and outline steps to navigate the registration process.
