SAN DIEGOAug. 22, 2016PRLog — On Thursday, August 25th, Small Business Expo (http://www.thesmallbusinessexpo.com/), the nation’s largest business to business trade show, will debut in San Diego bringing local small business owners and entrepreneurs together for a day full of networking, educational workshops and demos (http://www.thesmallbusinessexpo.com/san-diego-extras/) of the newest products and services out there to assist the local entrepreneurs in their day to day tasks and long-term goals.

We’re elated to announce the newest addition to Small Business Expo (http://issuu.com/smallbusinessexpo/docs/san-diego-showguide-2016?workerAddress=ec2-54-205-137-90.compute-1.amazonaws.com) called the Shark Bait! Entrepreneur Panel. Former contestants from the hit ABC TV Show Shark Tank* will share stories about their experience on the show. Some were fortunate to successfully gain funding from the Shark Tank investors. Others were not but used the exposure they gained to grow their businesses.  Their stories did not end once the episode was over. We are looking forward to hearing firsthand the steps they took after starring on Shark Tank that led to their million and multi-million businesses today. The panel will take place on the Inspiration2020 Showcase Theater Stage from 10:15am-11:15am at Small Business Expo with guests such as:

·         Slyde Handboards – Angela & Steve Watts

·         Sub Zero Ice Cream – Jerry Hancock

·         Ry’s Ruffery – Daniela Kelly

Small Business Expo (http://www.thesmallbusinessexpo.com/San-Diego) expects to have more than 3,500 registered attendees from

across the San Diego metropolitan area shopping for business resources, developing business

leads, gaining new insights, and networking with peers.

“Experts tell us that more and more San Diego residents are wanting to take the entrepreneurial leap,” says event founder Zachary Lezberg, “but that the biggest barrier to starting a new business is that people don’t think they can” he adds, “With the program we’ve put together, we believe our attendees will feel more empowered by the end of the day.”

This year’s Titanium Sponsor: Powerteam International will be joined by Platinum Sponsor:  EmergeAnywhere – Office Space Services, Paychex; Gold Sponsor: AT&T; and Silver Sponsors: 2Growit4ward Foundation, Benchmark Email, Berkman Financial, BizTV/BizTalkRadio, Dealstruck, Dun & Bradstreet, Energy Upgrade California, Misaic, Sprint, U4G, United Vision Marketing Firm, YP Marketing Solutions and ZipLocal.

SAN DIEGO SMALL BUSINESS EXPO will take place at the San Diego Convention Center | Hall A – 111 W Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101 from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm.
