    Methodology: Data is from the January 2018 Thrive Analytics “Local Pulse Report: 2018 Key Highlights.” 1,002 US SMBs were surveyed during January 7-13, 2018. Respondents identified the size of their businesses as sole proprietor (25%), 2-4 employees (27%), 5-9 employees (13%), 10-19 employees (16%), 20-25 employees (5%) and 25+ employees (14%).
