NEW YORK (PRWEB) JUNE 26, 2018 Today, Small Business Expo (SBE), the nation’s largest small business networking and educational event in the country announced record growth for the group’s shows in the first half of 2018, with key cities including New York City, Philadelphia and Dallas seeing significant increases in both exhibitor and attendee registration. The continued momentum speaks to demand among the nation’s growing small business market for the insight and learnings provided during these events. Philadelphia experienced a 42 percent increase YoY in attendees of the expo, with Dallas seeing a 17 percent and New York City – the organization’s largest show each year – also growing by 5 percent. Each location saw similar growth in exhibitor numbers as well, A key factor driving Small Business Expo’s attendee growth over the last year has been the caliber of sponsors and speakers lending their expertise to the visitors, including Google, HSBC, United Healthcare, Constant Contact and Allstate. In response to this rise in interest, the SBE is planning to build on momentum from 2018 and plans in 2019 to expand from 15 cities to 20 across the Nation. “I started the Expo series ten years ago with the intention of providing valuable insights and tools to entrepreneurs and business professionals like myself that are trying to build a company from the ground up,” said Zach Lezberg, Owner, Small Business Expo. “The team at SBE has worked tirelessly over the years to deliver insightful and progressive workshops and seminars for the small business community. I am excited for the future of this industry and believe that SBE is well-positioned to lead the conversation around that future.” From residential construction firms to merchant wholesalers and from technical consulting services to custom software providers, small businesses are on the rise across the Country. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, in 2016 there were more than 28.8 million small businesses in the United States, accounting for 99.7% of all of the country’s business – that number had since grown to approximately 30 million by early 2018. As business owners and entrepreneurs alike drive for continued success in 2018, they are increasingly turning to events like Small Business Expo to provide education, insights and support on topics ranging from financial models to lead management to data security. “Our research shows that small businesses and nonprofits are hungry for marketing education and we are proud to support them in their journey at the Small Business Expos,” said Dave Charest, director of content at Constant Contact and presenter at Small Business Expos across the Country. “Constant Contact is committed to helping small businesses succeed and empowering their marketing capabilities is vital to that success.” To drive further growth in the quarters ahead, earlier this year the organization also launched The Best of Small Business Awards® to honor business visionaries across multiple categories, including Small Business of the Year, Best Customer Service, Best SEO Company, CEO of the Year, Start-Up of the Year, Best Workplace, among many others.
